The moment reflexology starts, the body begins to work twice as hard to get rid of waste from cells, organs, blood and every other part of the body. You need to drink more water than usual for 24hrs after this treatment to aid in the elimination of these toxins. It promotes harmony and balance in your body & its systems. Its very relaxing and can highlight areas that may have been presenting as physical symptoms. Removes energy blockages and promotes health in the related body area. Balances the nervous system and stimulates the release of endorphins, helping to reduce pain and stress. Beneficial for headaches/migraines, digestive disorders. arthritis, insomnia, hormonal imbalances, menstrual disorders, back pain. 1 session can be used as an overall detox and boost to the system, for specific ailments a course of 6 treatments is recommended. If there is a pattern to the body parts presenting, during reflexology ie they are all governed by the same chakra, I scan the body to locate the energy blockage. I will then rebalance the chakra, restoring harmony.
